Lima Sports Programme and youth development is a weekly oriented program that is located in Tembisa and operates at Welamlambo sports ground), it caters to the township audience being football, netball and chess.
The aim of the program is to help create opportunities for kids to chase their sports dreams whilst playing in a safe, secure space, to help keep them physically active and healthy so that they don’t find themselves involved in drugs and crime, teenage pregnancies and other social ills that affect the youth of today.
The programme is sponsored by sneaker shack which assists with operational costs and has also donated over 100 sneakers to the kids.
In this session of Business Talk SA we focus on youth development of young people into future leaders as well as training them up to become and build sports brands and businesses.
